4

Do I have to be an SLP to book a room?

No! While we are SLPs ourselves and have stocked our resources with SLPs in mind, our space welcomes anyone who may find it useful. Whether you are an OT, PT, psychologist, or just need an office away from home, feel free to book our space!

Assessment reservations are limited to Speech Language Pathologists with current licensure.

Please read our terms and conditions for full details regarding assessment reservations.

5

Do you do walk-ins?

We currently only accept online bookings.

6

What if I am looking for a speech provider?

Our business does not offer speech services. At this time, we are directing our resources towards empowering independent therapists and their practices.

HOWEVER, we are a community of SLPs. Submit an inquiry through our messaging system or shoot us an email with what you are looking for. If we have a potential referral for you, we will reach out.

7

Do I have to purchase an add-on for my booking?

No! You are welcome to book a room without additional resources. Feel free to bring your own materials to use in our space. We kindly ask that you remove all personal belongings upon completion of your booking.

8

Is there a restroom?

Yes, we have a full-sized, ADA-compliant restroom.

9

Is your space ADA friendly?

Yes, in addition to our ADA-compliant restroom, we offer a fully functional wheelchair-lift to enter our garden-level space. We do ask that you send us an email BEFORE you make your booking so we can ensure that someone will be there to run the wheelchair lift.

10

Will there be a host or manager on site?

Speech Collective NYC is designed to be self-check-in. Our goal is for everything to be ready and seamless so that the focus is on your treatment and client.

We provide access codes for clinic entry, treatment room entry, and resource access. These access codes are ever-changing due to the nature of the collective. Access codes will be provided before your booking to ensure a smooth process.

That being said, we're still figuring it out! You may see one or both of us in the initial months of the collective's open doors to make sure everyone can access the correct rooms and resources. We love technology but we know technology can be finicky. The goal is for the collective to be 100% self-check-in once all the kinks are ironed out.
